For my second van choice, it would have to be the enigmatic Eddy Van Halen. This van is a pure theatrical show piece – a penis extension for the lads. The Eddy Van Halen has no smooth curves, rather distorted and abstract, but with a good pick up potential. Years on the road have left this once lean machine, struggling to make the grade and definitely living off past glories. If you like a van with so much noise that you cant hear yourself think this is the one for you!
Lee Van Cleef
My third choice on my list is the Lee Van Cleef Sabata aka White Van Man. I like the Sabata because it is the model that everyone loves to hate. It could be described as the good, the bad and the ugly all morphed into one mean machine that loves to scare the !!** out of everyone else.
Dick Van Dyke
The Dick Van Dyke is my fourth favourite choice. A veteran amongst the pack, it fun loving and pleasing to be around and quite versatile. Quite cheesy in style really – attempting to play the cockney role and failing to outdo the more street-wise Ford Transit.
Dr Van Helsing
The Classic Abraham Van Helsing is the last of the top 5 van choices of all time. This is your thinking mans White Van Man the Times reader of the road. I am certain that you won’t find one of these in a motorway layby, and certainly the Van Helsing is not a horror story to drive.
